Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to conduct an examination for Specail Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) on January 12, 2014. Interested candidates may apply for the said examination before the last date.

About SCRA:

SCRA stands for Specail Class Railways Apprentics. It is a competitive Exam managed/conducted by UPSC, on the behalf of Indian Railways (Railway Board) for the appointment of personnel in the Indian Railways Mechanical Department.

Recently UPSC updated a notification of SCRA 2014 Exam. So the interested Indian citizen may apply for the said posts through the upsc official website. Here website updates some important info about this examination. The candidates applying for the exam should ensure that they fulfill all eligiblity conditions for admission to the examination.

Vacancies: 42 (Forty Two)

Examination Fee: Rs.100/-. No fee for SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates.


How to apply for SCRA 2014 Examination?
Willing candidates who’s fulfilled all the eligibilities may apply online through the before November 04, 2013 upto 11:59 PM.

Syllabus for SCRA 2014 Exam:

Applicants have to face three paper for the said examination. Subjects, Code No. Time Allowed and Maximum Marks details are as follow in the table:

Download Admit Card:
The Participated candidates shall be download e-Admit Card from three weeks before the commencement of the examination.

Download UPSC SCRA Result 2014:
After examination candidates may download their results of the written test part-I likely to be declared in the month of March/April 2014.
